Carnivorous Plant Care Instructions
Congratulations on owning your own Carnivore! Your pet is one of over 600 species of carnivorous plants.
Although these plants can be found all across the world, many are
native only to the U.S., mostly in the Southeast. These
fascinating plants have adapted to survive and thrive in low
nutrient soils. Their insect prey is used to provide vital
nitrogen to help the plant grow.
Your pet can live for over ten years if you take good care of it.
Be sure to read the simple instruction provided with your plant and
follow them carefully. This site provides more detailed
instructions and information about your pet. There is also a
Frequently Asked Questions board that may help with common concerns.
Email us (care@mycarnivore.com) if you have any questions
or need help with your plant. We will gladly provide personal
attention to your precious pet.

CARE TIP #14: If you are leaving on vacation, try
placing a little cup of water in the closed cage to keep the air and
soil moist while he or she is not watered. This will keep the
plant wet enought for you to go two weeks without watering your
little friend.
