The Jungle Terrarium has a 9 inch by 16 inch base and is 12 inches tall. The Jungle includes special carnivore soil which will hold your 13 exotic carnivorous plants. Bugs of all sizes must beware as there are traps of all sorts everywhere. The special lid has a large opening for feeding and watering and will hold the proper humidity for your plants. You can grow your flytraps, sundews, nepenthes, rubras, and scarlet belles together for years in this custom terrarium with backdrop artwork.

Taking care of your jungle is not too difficult, but you will need a location where the terrarium will receive several hours a day of direct sunlight and indirect sunglight the rest of the day. If this is not an option, you can place the terrarium under fluorescent lights. You will need to water the terrarium as needed with distilled water or collected rainwater. The plants in the terrarium will eat everything from gnats to crickets and everything in between. For optimal growth, plants will need to be fed every other week. The Jungle simulates the natural environment of carnivorous plants where many species often grow together. Your kit may also include live sphagnum moss, depending on the season and availability of moss. The jungle is shipped with bare root plants separate from the soil. You will need approximately 1/2 gallon of rainwater or distilled water and about 30 minutes to setup the jungle.
